Good variety of food items for the buffet, offering customers good spread. One of the few restaurants offering halal buffet in a hotel with a great ambience. Recommend to take indoor seating to avoid sudden visits from the birds to share food.Posted on Desmond LingTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent value, especially with the 1-for-1 promotion, offering a large spread of Malay, Indian, Western, and Asian dishes, with free-flow drinks.Posted on Wahab AhmadTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Within the Village Bugis Hotel, this restaurant serves up a good variety of Asian Indian cuisine, seafood, and desserts. The staff is friendly and prompt at removing any used plate so that guests get a refill from the buffet spread. They added pizza, pasta, and satay to the mix for more variety, and even a fresh salad spread to balance it off. It is tboughtful that plastic gloves are provided so that guests can dig into crab and prawns without getting their fingers dirty. The chocolate fountain got a little unruly and splattered chocolate all around, but was cleaned up quickly by the staff. The restaurant got a little chilly maybe it was a cooler day when we visited. Otherwise, a decent buffet spread.Posted on Christina yeoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Stepping into The Landmark Restaurant for their renowned buffet spread, I was immediately struck by the elegant ambiance that sets the tone for what promises to be a memorable dining experience. The restaurant's sophisticated interior design creates an inviting atmosphere that elevates the traditional buffet concept into something truly special. The buffet selection at The Landmark is impressively comprehensive, catering to diverse palates with both local and international cuisine. The seafood station particularly caught my attention, featuring fresh prawns, mussels, and an assortment of sashimi that spoke to the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients. The local dishes were authentically prepared, with standout items including their rendition of laksa and char kway teow that captured the essence of Singapore's hawker culture whilst maintaining the refined presentation expected at this establishment. What truly distinguishes The Landmark's buffet is the attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. Each dish appeared freshly prepared, and the staff were diligent about replenishing items to ensure optimal temperature and quality throughout the service period. The dessert section deserves special mention, offering an array of both Western and Asian sweets, including their signature durian pengat that was surprisingly well-balanced for those brave enough to try it. The service standard remained consistently high throughout the evening, with staff members being attentive without being intrusive. They were knowledgeable about the dishes and happy to provide recommendations or explain ingredients for those with dietary restrictions. Whilst the price point positions this as a premium dining experience, the quality and variety of the offerings justify the cost. The Landmark Restaurant has successfully created a buffet experience that feels more like fine dining than casual eating, making it an excellent choice for special occasions or when you want to indulge in a truly satisfying meal. I would certainly recommend The Landmark Restaurant's buffet to anyone seeking a high-quality dining experience that showcases both culinary excellence and impeccable service standards.Posted on Tan JiayiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I happen to book a dinner on the 2nd jan 2026 with wife for our 3nd married annverisary. The picture of the atmosphere of the table and chair was great on the website when i book. I am shock and deeply disppointed when i reached and see the atmostphere was so big different compare to the website post. It was also different from their video they post online. I still dine in with my wife since we bought the gift voucher ( the gift voucher dont have discount also)and we reserved seats for ourself. The food taste still alright (6/10). The chilli crab sauce was not bad but the crab was a bit small. We dont manage to have much crab meat inside the crab. Service still ok service (8/10)as their staff are still polite and clear our plates often . Food price was it was $120++ for 1 for 1 .Food are more suitable if you are a halal as more spicy food we encounter. I think price are still alright for a location near CBD. Hope that they can be more transparent with the atmosphere and dont misled customer.Posted on #janjiHalalTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The buffet spread was amazing . Seafood section consists of black pepper tiger prawns, crayfish, fish head curry, chilli crab, mussels and cooked prawns. Then there's the Western Section, filled with satay, cold cuts of turkey ham, chicken, bolognaise, stir fried broccoli and other veg, And there was biryani, tandoori chicken, Tikka masala and more. Plus good spread of cold salads and desserts, including icd cream. The amount of food was simply fantastic.Posted on FarTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve been dining at The Landmark for as long as I can remember—around six years now. It has always been a special place for my family, especially for my mum’s birthday, which we celebrate here every year because she genuinely loves the food. Because of this, we’ve been frequent visitors over the years. Since our family has grown and we now have young children, I’ve noticed a change that’s hard to ignore. Each time we make a booking and specifically request to be seated indoors, we are consistently seated outside instead. I’m not sure whether this is an error or a coincidence, but it’s difficult not to notice the pattern—particularly given that we were regular diners long before we had kids. Our most recent visit, again for my mum’s birthday, was especially disappointing. The staff were noticeably unaccommodating. We requested a baby high chair to be placed at the head of our table, but this was denied on the grounds that it would disrupt the waitstaff’s walking path. While I completely understand the importance of staff safety and movement, it was frustrating to see that the table next to us had a pram placed at the head of their table without issue. This inconsistency felt unfair. If a pram was allowed in that position, it’s hard to understand why a baby chair wasn’t. The only alternative offered to us was to move outside, which was disappointing and felt dismissive rather than helpful. I don’t expect five-star service, but I do expect basic courtesy and equal treatment—especially from a restaurant we’ve supported for years. This experience left us feeling undervalued, which is really unfortunate given how much we’ve enjoyed coming here in the past. I sincerely hope management reflects on this and works toward more consistent and family-friendly service going forward.
